I translate written texts from Polish to English and the other way around. I work usually with localization of computer games and rhyming texts, but I also dealt with translating books, theatre plays, rock songs, poems or specialized texts on various subjects, i.e. poker. I like to challenge myself which is why I usually accept assignments that would make other translators doubtful.
I have translated the first Human Beatbox manual into English. Apart from tips for beginners, it also includes a lot of historical references, terms related to music and descriptions of exercises.
I have translated a folk song called "Sol Invictus" made by a band called Żywiołak. I preserved the rhyme layout, number of syllables and rhythm of the original.
I have translated a song called "Jak Skepta" by Polish rapper named Białas into English. I preserved the rhyme layout, number of syllables and rhythm of the original in order to allow the song to reach listeners in foreign countries.
