I am a graduate of English Language & Literature – I have studied at the Jagiellonian University and the University of Warsaw. I work chiefly as a translator (PL>EN, EN>PL) and editor. I also write texts about literature and cinema – more specifically, reviews and bios of artists associated with both of these fields. I transcribe in Polish and English, translate movies and prepare subtitles. In the past, I have also written scripts for Polish television and worked as a social media manager.
I write precisely, concisely, and correctly in both languages I use professionally.
I have been awarded in the student's competition at Found in Translation literary festival and in the 5th edition of the Zbigniew Batko Literary Translation competition.
One of the many texts I've translated for the website: an entry on Agnieszka Holland's 'Europa Europa'. I've also written the original Polish version of the text.
