About me

My name is Roksana Błońska, a graduate of International Economic Relations and Global Problems at the University of Economics in Katowice, English at the Teachers' Training College in Zabrze (no longer existing) and Accounting (postgraduate studies) at WSB in Chorzów. After 10 years of work for prestigious international corporations on positions related to finance, accounting and audit, during which I have never stopped being an English teacher at the same time, I decided to put into action a plan that had been in my mind for a long time then, the plan to change my professional life. The reason of my decision was the fact that during that period I had always had an impression of my personal potential in many areas not being fully used. That is why Lingea Center was created in July 2016, currently mainly concentrated on teaching English and translations to a limited extent, but looking for other interesting opportunities, like copywriting. I perceive myself as an independent thinker with non-stereotypical views about the world around me. I would like to share my thoughts and ideas in texts related mainly to economics, pedagogy (mainly related to foreign languages) as well as psychology of learning, but I am willing to explore other areas as well. I am also open to any other interesting proposals.
