I studied Polish philology and Germanic philology at the University of Warsaw. I also speak English fluently. Since 2006 I have been translating written texts from English or German to Polish and from Polish to English or German. I also have training in traditional proofreading and edition. Thanks to my mother being a physician (Dr. Magdalena Ulinska, ophthalmologist) I know medical terms and have experience in translating texts from this area.
I prepare translations for the Institute and its individual employees. First of all Polish-to-English translations: descriptions of research projects, grant applications, summaries, reports about the Institute's activities.
Mainly in 2006-2010 I have been translating for the pharmaceutical company Novartis, first of all texts from the areas of ophthalmology and oncology. Primarily translations from English to Polish: descriptions of clinical studies, training...
I translated a few dozen descriptions of sport footwear and apparel for the German version of dotsport.pl Web store.
