I’m Gurkan Akkurt, Creative Copywriter working where culture, technology, and tension collide.

I’ve sharpened my craft at HeimatTBWA\ in Berlin, 4129Grey, and TBWA\Istanbul. I’ve worked inside big agency systems, and I’ve built independently. That balance matters to me. I understand structure, but I’m built to challenge it.

My work spans global and regional brands like Google Maps, FANTA, Mastercard, McDonald’s, Disney+, BMW Motorrad, MINI, and Carrefour. I’ve led integrated campaigns, written brand films, built digital-first platforms, and developed performance-driven launch ideas that move fast and scale globally.

I’m intuition-led but insight-backed. I trust my creative instincts, but I anchor them in strategy and cultural relevance. I’m drawn to contradiction. Tension creates memorability. The space between emotional and rational. Between premium and playful. Between data and poetry.
