Job description

Good morning!

The announcement has been updated :)

We are looking for a programmer who can do two things:

1. Write a possible simple, fast and safe script that connects to the database, in order to save one or two data provided by the user of the 'web page' (which is a training) at a given moment, read them and change the variables inside the training (using javascript with built-in simple API help).

2. Write a script that, when X entries in the database in a given time horizon are exceeded, will change one of the variables in the training at its start.

More details:

1. Script # 1 will be embedded on a website that will actually be an online training course, created using HTML5 and JS. The training has its "API", we have implemented and working solution for extracting training data using AJAX and JSON. At this point, we can save this data, for example, to an excel file using a PHP file, but we would like to transfer them to the database (preferring mysql, because we have basic knowledge in this field). We expect a very high load (i.e. at peak moments even 20-30k inputs at once), so the lighter and faster (and safer, because the data is sensitive), the better.

2. After reaching the ceiling of X entries in the database, we would like one variable to change in the training - either by querying the base each time it is started, or eg by using cron, which will check from time to time whether the given number of entries has been reached. We can change the variables inside the training and advise you at the stage of work.

The training works as a container that displays successive training screens, and downloads data from javascript files. It does not need a database to work, only files on the server are enough. The training also has a preload mechanism. We can provide you with a sample package, how it looks.

We care about the security of the transferred data, so we would love to read / hear why your solution will allow us to sleep well :)
