I run a crime podcast and need someone to help with sound processing and video editing (permanent cooperation preferred, about 4 episodes per month). Voice material (monologue of the host) is recorded in Audacity (file format submitted for processing - .aup or .WAV). Audio processing should consist of: - calibrating the appropriate volume for youtube and podcast applications, - equalization/normalization of sound, - removing noise, clatter, clicks, etc. - removing/muting excessive breaths and pauses, - adding background music for the entire length of the episode and setting its volume appropriately (takes into account a louder effect at the beginning and end of the episode)* - minor correction of the tone of voice (optional, I prefer to leave the natural tone) - other changes (please suggest in the offer) * music recording is ready and will be provided at the establishment of cooperation.

Looking for an editor for my YouTube channel with more than 130 thousand subscriptions.

I make my videos on the subject of cartoons, where I make various analyses, discussions, or create tops. Currently, my main interest is a series on the cartoon Bluey.

What is editing and what are the difficulties involved?

The editing itself is not difficult and does not require great skill. The difficulty lies in logically matching the parts of the cartoon, with what I say in the background. In fact, foreign clips are used basically fair-use. It is quite monotonous work, but not complicated. I also pull clips either from films from which I get the idea, or totally from some 2h marathons say on Bluey.

I edit everything myself and you can say that I have my own style, which can be polished or left as it is.
