1 Proposed title of the engineering thesis: Logistics module to improve the work of the logistics department of a production plant using a bakery chain as an example. 2 Purpose of the work The purpose of the work is to create a module for an existing information system for a production plant using a bakery chain as an example. The application aims to increase the efficiency of logistics work, reduce staffing needs, and increase work organization. 3 Problem definition The application will be created for companies operating networks (their own subsidiaries or foreign ones), where there is a high frequency of deliveries (in the case of bakeries, these are daily deliveries) and the assortment list is quantitatively large. Many companies work on the basis of printouts, on the basis of which orders are complimented, which causes a lot of problems in the case of a large number of orders and different times of availability of a given assortment, for example, "a certain type of buns, such as "a certain type of bread". A certain type of rolls, e.g. multigrain, was ordered by 80 branches in the amount of 6000 pieces: - The rolls are delivered from the bakery in batches: Who should receive the ordered quantities first? - Drivers leave on routes at different times, so priority for orders is needed.
