About me

Welcome! My name is Philip and I'm a freelance bilingual translator of Polish and English, as well as an International Relations alumni and civil servant currently based in Warsaw, Poland. Translation has become something more to me than simply converting morphemes from one linguistic output into another - it is a subtle game of uncovering nuance and discovering meaning across neural boundaries. It is a very personal process that grants me the ability to tap into each of my identities, represented by my two mother tongues. I've been doing freelance translation regularly over the last 5 years, which has included screenplay adaptations for theatre, private web pages, catalogues, academic works in the field of humanities, as well as CVs and grant applications. Looking forward to working with you!
