Hello, I am interested in doing some minor translation projects from English to Polish and vice versa. I have graduated from the University of Gdańsk, English Philology, Translation Studies, both BA and MA. I have also graduated from High School No.3 in Gdańsk, the bilingual class.
My experience: • Project Manager at the PWN Translation Agency (march 2019-currently), ensuring the quality of the translation process and the translated documents is at the highest level possible; • translation and writing of fanpage posts as well as the web page of the dance festival Amber Swing 2017; • internship at IURIDICO Legal & Financial Translations (proof-reading and editing translations) (January – March 2016); • teaching English at Leo Language School (October 2015 – June 2016); • teaching English at Ambit Language School (March 2015 – June 2016); • translation internship in the Gdańsk Archipelago of Culture (November - December 2014); • good computer and MS Office skills; • good command of CAT tools: MemoQ, Trados, Wordfast; • completion of various translational courses within BA and MA university studies: general, legal, certified, UE, contracts, literary, IT, medical, technical, audiovisual, historical and press translation.
