About me
My name is Julia Sarapata de Carvalho, a Polish artist and illustrator. I create illustrations under the name Julia Sarapata Illustrations since January 2019, but I have been freelancing since 2017. I draw and paint since I can remember and it's my life's passion. Until now I have worked with Polish publishing company called Wydawnictwo M-D-M, where I drew coloring books for adults and children, and as a freelance-illustrator for independent authors who self-publish their books (Apara Mahal Sylvester : "Charlie The Baseball Cat"). However, I am currently in process of creating illustrations for future projects which will be released in United States and Poland in the year 2020. I also work with custom potratis/illustrations and other design projects ( logos, business cards, t-shirt or tattoo designs) and individually by selling my own artworks as art prints. So far I have been on two Art Fairs held in Warsaw's Ethnographic Museum and I am one of the sellers in this year's Targi Plakatu. My illustrations are detailed and filled with vibrant colors. My main goal is to create beautiful children books, but I also work in other fields. For digital illustrations I use Procreate and Affinity
