Beata Pala ACCA has over 9 years of in-depth experience in international accounting. Having earned a masters degree in Geology and Tourism she worked for a year in a busy, four star hotel before she decided to move to Guernsey, Channel Islands. She changed her career path in 2008 and moved to the finance industry. She started her journey in finance at Legis Fund Services, subsequently bought out by Orangefield Group and then Vistra Group. In the beginning, she was responsible for administration of a number of open ended and listed funds whilst studying towards CAT (achieved in 2011) and ACCA (achieved in 2015) qualifications. During those years she was promoted four times from trainee to fund administrator to senior administrator and, eventually, to fund accounting officer producing audited financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS primarily for real estate clients and fund managers. In October 2016 she returned with her family to Poland.
Assisted in translation of an interview with a Polish kayaker, Mr Aleksander Doba for the UK magazine Healthspan. This involved translation of ten Healthspan's questions from English to Polish and Mr Doba's answers from Polish to English for it...
