About me

I am an experienced Pharmacist with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking English. As I always have passion for languages I decided to turn my career towards translation. I enjoy translating along with the linguistic checks of texts. I have a solid background in pharmaceutical field ( practice in pharmacy and pharmaceutical company) thus I am familiar with idiomatic and formal usage of pharmaceutical vocabulary. My additional areas of specialization include: medicine, cosmetology and general healthcare. To obtain a better understanding the skill of translation, I completed Postgraduate Course for Specialist English Translator at the Philological School of Higher Education in Wroclaw, aimed at translating from Polish to English and vice versa. It allowed me to absorb terminology in translation fields such as: legal, technical, financial, commercial and literary translation. Besides, I have acquired training in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation. Completing translation training I gained precious practical knowledge of the translation industry. It allowed me to successfully accomplished diverse translator’s activities and get insight into appropriate use of translation tools and procedures. I have deep understanding of the importance of quality assurance in translator’s job. I have grown perfectly accustomed to maintain the highest quality of any translation project.
