Responsibilities:
Translate a wide variety of documents such as articles, reports, manuals, and marketing materials from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and tone.
Edit and proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
Conduct research to ensure terminology is consistent across translations.
Liaise with clients to discuss any unclear points.
Maintain and update bilingual glossaries and translation memories.
Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.
Use translation software and tools effectively to increase productivity and quality.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Translator or similar role.
Fluency in at least two languages, including [source language(s)] and [target language(s)].
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
