Job description
We are a small agency looking to expand our team with a freelance developer to help us out on several client projects. The ideal candidate will have several hours available per week to dedicate to our projects. You will be working on applications that live on the edge between the network and application environments. Your task is to transform a functional specification into working Python applications and to write good tests cases that support your code.
You should have:
• 2-3 years of experience of developing Python 3 applications and/or
• Familiar with Git and developing software in a team
• Knowledge in automation and testing is a plus
• Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of APIs and working with 3rd parties using them
• Knowledge of major Python packages and frameworks such as Django, Flask and AsyncIO are a plus
• A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, SSH, HTTP, and distributed networks)
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Conversational level knowledge of English
