Job description

For permanent cooperation we are looking for a person well versed in PHP (7.x) + Symfony (4.3+) based applications. To begin with, we would like to delegate tasks to a project with (unfortunately) a lot of legacy code. Applications that leave a lot to be desired in terms of readability and correctness of written code - we would prefer to mark this at the beginning to avoid surprises later. Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have too much time to devote enough time to implement a new person in these projects - we are looking for someone who would be able to analyze them, and then work with the tasks in the maximum possible independent way (of course, we provide assistance, but we want to avoid a situation in which we have to delegate one person for several weeks to translate every piece of code). We are aware that the tasks (assuming that we have to implement them) may be quite problematic at the beginning, but a well-rounded person will certainly be able to cope with them (in the end, even this legacy code is not so bad that it is impossible to work on it - we can manage to work on it ourselves "after hours", but we will not be able to extend the day any further).

Ultimately, we hope for permanent cooperation also on newer, friendlier written applications. First, however, we need to get off the backlog with these less graceful topics.

Basic experience with Docker and basic front-end knowledge are welcome (enough to be able to make cosmetic fixes - we have a dedicated front-end person for the bigger front-end stuff).

We are leaning towards the option of billing the work monthly based on the number of hours worked. Of course, the time spent getting familiar with the project is also included in the billing.

Information from Useme: bidding is possible only if:

- possession of a valid student ID card (for pupils/students up to 26 years of age)

- confirmed statement of full-time employment for at least the minimum wage

- having a business activity
