Local Plugin for Visual Studio Code

We need a simple plugin for Visual Studio Code that allows to browse a specific structure of folders. We need to display file input in a top screen (lets say a programmatic input) and output on bottom screens (separately assembly, compilation result and user friendly summary). The source and output files are having the same name, but with different extension. Each type of the file is in a separate location - there are 3 exactly the same parallel folder structures, that differs only by a root name.

The source and the outputs can be of different type (the file names have fixed, unique extensions but the content of those output files can vary - it can be text, yaml, json, html, javascript (in general code)).

Additionally we need a dedicated yaml editor (we use yaml for configuration), yaml has it a fixed structure, we want to display it as a form that allows to edit this settings and guard settings integrity.
