B2B Cold Caller and Appointment Setter for US Service Businesses (US Hours)
We're a US-focused B2B advisory firm that works with trade and facility service businesses: HVAC, janitorial, landscaping, plumbing, electrical and similar companies. We're looking for an experienced cold caller to book qualified appointments with business owners.
This is not a script-reading telemarketing job. You'll call owners about a specific, real opportunity in their local area, get their attention in the first 20 seconds, and book a 15-minute call with our lead consultant.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Make 60 to 80 outbound calls a day from lists we prepare, with contact details and a specific talking point for each business
- Get past receptionists and dispatchers politely to reach the owner
- Hold a short, natural conversation and book qualified meetings onto our calendar
- Send a short follow-up email from our templates before or after calls
- Log every call outcome in a shared Google Sheet, the same day
- Leave short, clear voicemails
- Follow a structured multi-touch follow-up sequence
WHAT WE NEED
- At least 1 year of B2B cold calling or appointment setting, calling US businesses
- Clear, confident spoken English, easy for US business owners to understand
- Available to work US Eastern hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET
- A quiet workspace, a good headset and reliable internet
- Comfortable handling objections without being pushy
- Organised: you log everything and never let a follow-up slip
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience calling small and medium service businesses: contractors, trades, cleaning, facilities, field services
- Experience with dialers like JustCall, Aircall or Kixie
- Experience with HubSpot or any CRM
- Some experience closing small-ticket sales on the phone
WHAT WE OFFER
- Long-term, full-time role, 40 hours a week
- Prepared lists with a real reason to call each business. No blind dialing
- Clear scripts, training in week 1, and direct feedback
- Room to grow into a closing role as we scale
