AI Software Engineer - Junior/Mid Level

• About this role*

We are looking for a Junior/Mid-Level AI Software Engineer with around 3 years of software development experience to help build AI-powered chatbots, applications, and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate has a solid software engineering background and hands-on experience or strong interest in modern AI technologies such as ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and AI automation tools.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain AI-powered chatbots and applications.

- Integrate OpenAI/ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI models into applications.

- Develop APIs and backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.

- Build AI agents and automation workflows for repetitive tasks and business processes.

- Work with RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and tool/function calling.

- Integrate applications with external APIs, databases, and third-party services.

- Work with automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.

- Deploy and maintain applications using AWS and/or Azure and CI/CD.

- Test, debug, and improve AI features and automation workflows.

- Collaborate with other developers and product team members.

Qualifications

- Around 3 years of professional software development experience.

- Experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Python.

- Some hands-on experience building AI applications, chatbots, AI agents, or automation workflows.

- Familiarity with OpenAI/ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI technologies.

- Basic understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI agents.

- Experience working with REST APIs and databases.

- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure.

- Familiarity with n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools is a plus.

- Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Willingness to learn and experiment with new AI technologies.
