Native Hungarian proofreader – e-commerce website post-editing
We are looking for a native Hungarian proofreader to check and correct the existing Hungarian-language texts in our online shop.
This is NOT a translation from Slovak into Hungarian. The Hungarian translation has already been completed. The task involves native post-editing: checking the existing Hungarian texts for language and style to ensure they sound natural, professional and credible to a Hungarian customer.
We will provide an Excel file containing the current Hungarian texts. The original Slovak text is provided solely for the purpose of checking the meaning.
Of particular importance to us is natural Hungarian language, grammar and style; the correction of phrasing that sounds like machine translation; and the use of terminology, product names, CTAs, basket and checkout texts customary in Hungarian e-commerce, as well as a consistent tone.
Texts that are already satisfactory do not need to be rewritten. The aim is for the site to appear to Hungarian customers as a natural Hungarian online shop, rather than giving the impression of being a machine translation.
Please return the completed Excel file with its structure unchanged.
