In my professional career I have primarily worked as a journalist as well as analyst/researcher. As a journalist I covered mainly economics and business topics (having worked for Warsaw Business Journal, Interfax agency, as well as M&A service DealWatch) writing primarily in English. I have also delivered non-business articles for Warsaw Insider lifestyle monthly, where I had my own column in 2004-2005 (called Hidden Gems - covering off the beaten track attractions in Warsaw). As an analyst/researcher I have worked for the Emis.com service (part of ISI Emerging Markets). As part of the Emis Insights team I was responsible for writing and editing sector reports on the Polish and other CEE markets. The reports were 60-70 pages long, including both text and infographics, and were written in English. I am fluent in English (I have the CPE certificate), having attended primary and high school in English speaking schools and countries. I am capable of doing high quality translations from English to Polish and vice versa. I have also worked as an English teacher and I am capable of holding English language conversations and lessons (business English included). I am also a certified Warsaw city tour guide doing tours both in Polish and English.
