I’m Hannes, a South Africa-based developer working in English. I build and maintain Rails applications using PostgreSQL, Sidekiq and API integrations. My work includes payment integrations, background imports, data validation and recovery from failed or interrupted processing.
I focus on clear scope, reliable data handling, testing and practical handover notes. I’m interested in bounded implementation and repair work: API connections, payment workflows, spreadsheet imports, background jobs and improvements to existing applications.
I use Codex during development and take responsibility for reviewing and testing the result.
