About me

Hi, I’m Ilia—a composer, sound artist, and sound designer based in Paris.

So far, I’ve composed music for seven theater productions in Russia, worked on immersive and installation projects in theater laboratories and artistic residencies, and written music for films.

Several theater performances I scored were nominated for prestigious Russian awards, including the Golden Mask Festival and the Russian National Theater Award’s expert council shortlist of the year’s most notable premieres. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned Italian visual artist Gian Maria Tosatti on a theatrical laboratory project in Ivangorod, a small city on the border with Estonia.

I specialize in creating immersive soundscapes and emotionally resonant compositions that enhance storytelling in theater, film, and multimedia projects. I’m passionate about collaborating with directors, choreographers, and visual artists to bring unique artistic visions to life.
