I am a bilingual person, brought up at a home where both Polish and German were spoken. I've devoted my education to languages by studying Linguistics (English, German and Russian). Having lived abroad, e.g. in Germany, Ukraine or Kyrgyzstan, I was able to pick up the 'living' languages and not only those one can learn from the books. Languages are not only my tool of trade but also my passion and hobby, which is why, after completing my education and as an experiment, I've pursued learning Swedish on my own. I've been able to do so by reading books and watching TV shows. My career was so far never solely focused on translations but I have always been working in foreign languages, never in Polish, serving clients across the globe working for such gigants as IKEA and Coca-Cola. I have also always been freelancing, translating from time to time texts from very different backgrounds, not only commercial but also scientific. Due to the fact that I've become a mum and I feel like I have achieved everything one could wish for in the world of big corporations by becoming a manager, I would now like to focus on what I do and like the most and make it my daily tool of trade.
