About me

I am a dedicated and versatile music educator with extensive experience teaching Music Theory, Harmony Theory, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Acoustic Guitar, combining academic knowledge with real-world professional performance experience gained while working at the Opera House. My teaching approach is built on clarity, structure, creativity, and practical application, allowing students to not only understand music intellectually but to truly internalize and perform it with confidence and expression. In Music Theory, I guide students through the foundations of notation, rhythm, intervals, scales, modes, key signatures, and form. I focus on helping learners understand how music works structurally rather than memorizing isolated rules. Students explore major and minor systems, modal interchange, scale construction, rhythmic subdivisions, and compositional frameworks. I emphasize ear training and sight-reading, ensuring they develop strong listening skills alongside theoretical knowledge.
