Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines capable of processing large, complex datasets

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in ETL, data exchange APIs, data mapping, and data cleansing.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across all layers of the platform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client onboarding and platform enhancements

Provide production support during business hours as part of an on-call rotation

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, ticket grooming and release activities

Desired Skills & Expertise

Hands-on Experience with modern big data technologies such as HDFS, Spark, and Databricks.

Proficiency in multiple programming languages and toolsets, including Python, Databricks SQL,and YAML

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling

2+ years of experience working with big data platforms

Experience supporting production systems and resolving operational issues.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment

Experience working within an Agile/Kanban development process

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with third-party marketing and CRM platforms(e.g.,Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies
