"Runaway Jellyfish" application using Kinect

We need an "escaping fish" type application, we use a projector to display fluorescent jellyfish swimming in the depths (on a black background) and a Kinect sensor to detect when the user "covers them with a shadow", the jellyfish then escape.

We are interested in the jellyfish themselves without any coral reefs, etc.

Description of user interaction:

The user entering the range of the image projected by the projector can affect the jellyfish projected on the wall, they will "escape" from the shadow cast by the user.

Hardware used:

Kinect 2.0 (for Xbox One)

Projector with an aspect ratio of 4:3

A mini-computer with specifications to be determined since we don't know how powerful a unit we need.
