Hey!
We have several websites and stores scattered on several separate Polish shared hosting. We are looking for a person to check the current configuration and verify whether it is worth moving the sites to a different server specification (e.g. VULTR or DO) to optimize costs and speed up the sites.
Experience with Wordpress and Woocommerce and knowledge of foreign cloud solutions (Cloudways, Rocket.net, Gridpane, Hetzner) are welcome.
We will send details of the assignment, site addresses and current administration issues in a private message.
We are a stable company with steady income looking for a new sales channel in connection with this. We have a ready-made online store not yet launched. We are looking for an administrator to manage the store:
- Making changes in consultation with SEO and SEM specialists
- Possibly optimization in-house
- Developing statistics
- Developing the store by adding more improvements
- Consultation on the operation of the store and its service
- Administration and debugging
We are currently looking for someone who could work with us on a freelance basis and bill us hourly.
Scope of implementation:
- Cooperation with an IT specialist at every stage of the implementation process (ultimately, you will manage the infrastructure on your own and must be prepared to expand it)
- Preparation of virtual machines for Active Directory
- Installation of Windows servers on virtual machines
- Installation and configuration of network services necessary for the operation of Active Directory replicas
- Installation and configuration of Active Directory services on replicas
- Configuration of user accounts and groups in AD
- Drafting authorization policies and permissions for objects in the directory services tree as agreed with the end customer
- Configuration of GPO policies for workstations, servers and users according to the guidelines (guidelines attached)
- Connection of workstations to the domain and transfer of local resources from workstations to specific network locations (arrays, NAS), users' domain profiles (a total of 35 units, of which 5-10 devices are expected to be connected as part of the implementation - after providing instructions, the office IT specialist will be able to connect the ends and migrate the data on his own
- Integration of UTM class devices (Fortigate 60F) with Active Directory
- Separately, please quote 10-20 rg for post-implementation support.
The case is this:
The domain is parked on home.co.uk, the store runs under sky-shop.co.uk which now works with Cloudflare, and emails are sent via API from freshmail and communication (customer inquiries from the store to the email inbox via internal Sky-shop+Gmail settings). The email address that matches the main domain is handled 100% by Gmail.
And now yes - Freshmail wants to authorize DMARC and Chinese soup “does not work”. DKIM is ok, SPF seems to be too. I don't know where to set what and how, because Freshmail with Sky-shop are flipping responsibility and ideas, but the end result is that in addition to this error with DMARC I get a non-stop email from noreply-smtp-tls-reporting@google.com with the content: This is an aggregate TLS report from google.com + .gz attachment
And in the meantime Sky-shop wrote an email saying that in total I don't need to pin them with Cloudflare, but it would be good for me to do it :)
“You have received this message because we observe that the domain connected to your store is still not secured by Cloudflare.
There is no cost to enable the service, and it significantly increases the security of your site.”
Hello, I have about 20 clients for small WP sites. I would like to set up a dedicated server / VPS where I could host the clients' sites. I care about simple management, security and speed.
1 Server type:
VPS or dedicated server depending on budget and scale of projects.
VPS: suitable for smaller and medium-sized projects, with flexibility to scale.
Dedicated server: more computing power and no resource sharing with other users.
3 Operating system:
Linux (preferred) - such as Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, CentOS 7/8 or Debian 10/11 (compatible with AAPanel).
4. management panel:
AAPanel -.
5. hosting WordPress sites:
PHP: PHP 8.0+
Database: MySQL
Nginx
6 Caching:
Redis: As a caching mechanism to provide fast access to data.
Redis configuration options: settings depending on the number of WordPress sites and the amount of RAM, can be configured in AAPanel.
Alternatively, Memcached can also be used.
and more to be discussed
