Bilingual Social Media Community Manager & Virtual Assistant - Educational Nonprofit
KIDS-HEAL, a nonprofit transforming children's health education through animated cancer superheroes and innovative content, seeks a bilingual Social Media Community Manager & Virtual Assistant.
Position: Independent contractor, remote
Hours: 5/week initially (growth potential)
Rate: $6-10/hour
Duration: 2 months initial contract
Preference: Mexican residents
Key Responsibilities:
Execute social media strategies (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter)
Create engaging content in English & Spanish
Monitor community interactions and responses
Email management, calendar scheduling, research
Support grant writing and fundraising initiatives
Learn and utilize AI tools for content creation
Required:
Native/near-native English & Spanish fluency
1+ years social media/digital marketing experience
Interest in learning AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, etc.)
Virtual assistant experience or willingness to learn
Passion for health education and nonprofit work
Google Workspace/MS Office proficiency
Americas time zone availability
Preferred:
Nonprofit experience
Social media advertising knowledge
CRM/email marketing experience
Photoshop/video editing skills
