Project Offer: Senior Consultant - HR IT Governance, Audit & Compliance

Freelance | Remote | Long-Term Global Transformation Program

We are supporting a global industrial enterprise undergoing a major organizational and IT transformation to strengthen its HR IT governance and compliance capabilities-

The role focuses on supporting upcoming HR IT audits, driving the remediation of audit findings, ensuring compliance with governance and risk-management requirements, and preserving critical operational knowledge throughout the transformation.

This is a long-term, fully remote engagement within an international environment.

Professionals based in Nearshore Europe with strong overlap to CET/CEST working hours are highly encouraged to apply.

✅ Required Experience & Skills

• Several years of experience in HR IT Governance, IT Compliance, IT Service Management, or IT Audit Support

• Proven track record supporting internal and external audits and driving remediation activities

• Strong understanding of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) frameworks and controls

• Experience managing audit findings, corrective actions, owners, risks, and deadlines

• Solid knowledge of ITIL 4 Service Management principles and operational governance processes

• Understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, access management, and regulatory compliance requirements

• Ability to convert audit and compliance requirements into practical and measurable actions

• Excellent stakeholder-management, coordination, and documentation skills

• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience in complex international HR IT environments

• Knowledge of GDPR, EU AI Act, ISO 27001, SOC, or comparable compliance frameworks

• Experience with LeanIX, COSEP, ServiceNow, or similar governance and documentation platforms

• Knowledge of HR systems such as SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar solutions

• Background in carve-outs, post-merger integrations, organizational separations, or large transformation programs

• Experience improving service maturity, governance models, or SLA mgt
