Key Requirements: Performance & SEO (Must Have) This is the most critical part of the assignment. I expect "green scores" in Google PageSpeed Insights on both mobile and desktop. Core Web Vitals: Code must be optimized for LCP, INP, and CLS. Zero layout shifts when loading fonts or images. Parallax must be implemented efficiently (e.g., transform: translate3d, no jank/layout thrashing during scrolling). Assets Management: No loading of unnecessary CSS/JS on subpages where they are not used. Support for WebP/AVIF formats. Lazy loading for images (excluding content "above the fold"). Semantics & SEO: Correct heading structure (H1-H6). Semantic HTML5 (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <article>, <footer>). Accessibility – correct alt attributes, aria-label where necessary. Technical Requirements Stack: Custom Theme (from scratch or a lightweight starter like Underscores/Sage). FORBIDDEN: Page Builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery) and heavy CSS frameworks (e.g., loading the entire Bootstrap library if using only 5% of it). Editing: Gutenberg Native Blocks or ACF Blocks. Workflow: I send the starter package (Duplicator). You work locally. You send back the ready-to-deploy package (installer + archive) which overwrites the instance.
