Improving an online store/website

I am looking for a person to streamline an online store. The store is set up, payments are connected, but the payment does not always go through. There are some gaps and some visual things to work on. I want the store to finally start working at 101%, so please report people who have experience in this. The site is hosted on wordpress.

I am asking for approximate rates.
