English Native Speaker – Proofreading & Light Editing of Book (64,300 words) + NDA required

I’m looking for a native English speaker (preferably female US-based) to perform proofreading and light language editing of a literary book originally written in Polish and translated into English.

Project details:

• Genre: fiction with reflective and psychological elements,

• Length: approx. 64,300 words (200 pages, .doc/.docx format),

• Scope of work: grammar, punctuation, syntax, language flow – without altering the author’s voice or literary tone,

• Deadline: ideally within 4 weeks (negotiable),

• Delivery: Word file with Track Changes enabled.

NDA required:

Before starting the work, you will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in bilingual form (Polish-English). The NDA guarantees full confidentiality and confirms that you will not share, publish, or reuse any part of the material.

Requirements:

• Native English speaker (preferably female from US),

• Proven experience in editing/proofreading literary or creative texts,

• Attention to linguistic consistency and style preservation,

• Sample work or references are a strong plus.
