Content Creator & Social Media Specialist (Freelance, Remote)

Svalbard Experts is a travel agency organizing unique expeditions and experiences in Svalbard, Arctic Norway.

We're looking for a long-term collaborator who can help us grow our social media presence and transform expedition footage into engaging content.

Our primary focus is Instagram and Facebook, with potential expansion to TikTok.

Responsibilities:

- Managing Instagram and Facebook

- Creating Reels, posts and stories

- Editing video content from our Svalbard expeditions

- Writing captions and social media content in English

- Planning and scheduling content

- Developing content ideas

- Using AI tools to support content creation and editing

Requirements:

- Excellent written English (C1+)

- Experience creating and editing Instagram Reels

- Experience managing social media accounts

- Strong storytelling and content creation skills

- Understanding of current social media trends

- Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools

- Ability to work independently

Nice to Have:

- Experience with travel or tourism brands

- Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar tools

- Photography or additional content creation skills
