Looking for a freelancer who can help with a WordPress website that has just been setup.
I need to add a customer login function on the home page whereby clients can login with their assigned userid and password and once successfully logged in, view files that have been uploaded into a subfolder of the web site.
So under the main WordPress folder will be a folder called CLIENTS. Under this will be a folder for each client. In each clients folder will be PDF files and possibly some more folders which also contain PDF files.
The uploading of files into each clients folder will be done manually using FTP so this functionality is not required as part of this project.
As mentioned, we are using WordPress. The rest of the site is hosted through cPanel. Therefore, MySQL is available for storing user login details etc.
We will need an Admin page developed to manage the user accounts ie Add new, edit and delete.
Fields available will be
Email Address – Will be used as their userid
Password
Client Name – Will be used to link to the folder on the web site that holds their files
First Name
Last Name
When a new client is created, a folder with the entered Client Name will be created under the web site.
We are currently using the Simple Classic WordPress theme. The code needs to fit in with this theme.
We will provide cPanel and WordPress admin credentials to the person assigned the job so they have all the tools necessary to implement the solution.
