Hey there, I’m James. I’m not your typical CS grad. My journey started in the days of CGI and Perl, teaching myself to build from scratch because I loved how code worked. This curiosity led to a career as an IT journalist, traveling the globe and interviewing tech giants.
Eventually, I started my own media group, scaling to over 60 people across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and SE Asia. But the bigger the company got, the less I got to code. I spent my time in meetings instead of building, and I realized I’d lost my spark.
So, I sold the company, packed my bags, and embraced the digital nomad life. I went back to what makes me truly happy: solving problems with code.
