I am an experienced Systems Engineer and Microsoft SQL Database Administrator with over 20 years of professional experience in IT. I specialize in large-scale database migrations (10+ TB), high availability systems (HA clusters), scripting (SQL, Bash, Python), and administration of both Linux and Windows Server environments.
I have worked for international companies including McAfee, Novartis, VMware, where I handled projects such as:
- Migrating databases across low-bandwidth networks using Transaction Log Shipping,
- Configuring and supporting SQL Server HA clusters with automatic failover,
- Administering Linux, VMware, Puppet, and LDAP-based infrastructures.
I hold certifications in Microsoft SQL Server administration and querying, as well as a VMware VCP (ESX Server). I speak fluent English, Polish and Russian and currently reside in Ireland. I'm open to new remote opportunities – feel free to get in touch!
