Role Description:
This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Online English Teacher.
We offer online English courses in the following areas:
General English
Business English
IT English
Medical English
Working pattern and class details:
Classes last 60 or 90 minutes, 1:1 or in groups of 2 or 3.
Classes are held 6-7 days a week from Monday to Saturday/Sunday, except for public holidays in Poland, and run from 7 am to 9 pm.
Responsibilities:
Teach online.
Assign and check homework.
Give written feedback after each lesson.
Requirements:
All applicants must have the right to live and work in the EU and be registered as self-employed in Poland or another EU country.
Written and spoken English to a level of C1/C2 or above.
A native/near-native accent or a neutral accent.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
Strong knowledge of English grammar and pronunciation.
Experience with online teaching platforms.
Flexibility to work part-time and remotely.
Experience teaching English as a second language is a plus.
TESOL/CELTA/TEFL certification is a plus
Access to a laptop/desktop computer, a headset with a microphone and a reliable connection to the internet.
An availability of at least 10 hours per week, mainly in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings.
How much do I get paid?
The starting rate is 60 PLN gross for 60 minutes of work.
The rate is proportionally higher for 90-minute lessons.
We may be able to offer you a higher rate if you're a qualified and experienced teacher who can give a good demonstration lesson.
