I have worked as a translator of English to Polish and Polish to English since 2002. My experience covers a wide variety of areas, including transcreation. My current focus is on marketing, history of architecture, art, education and commercial flooring solutions. As surprising as the latter may sound in the context of the other areas, it is a very interesting subject ranging from technical specs to aesthetics and design. My work is guided by dedication to the detail, but I also believe that a text should read well, which means that it should have a rhythm and reflect the style of the author, as well as context. Regardless of its character - from technical to artistic - there are people behind every text, and this is what informs my work.

In my spare time I enjoy learning flamenco, as well as gardening and sewing.

Tłumaczenia tekstów i opisów produktów z branży obiektowych pokryć podłogowych (wykładzin winylowych w rulonie, luksusowych płytek winylowych, płytek dywanowych m.in. do biur, hoteli, sklepów, szkół i innych obiektów).
W ramach współpracy z Malta Festival Poznań (od 2006 r.) tłumaczę z jęz. angielskiego na polski i polskiego na angielski liczne teksty publikowane na stronie festiwalu, m.in, opisy pozycji programowych, wydarzeń i spektakli oraz napisy do filmów.

Tłumaczenie m.in. deklaracji właściwości użytkowych (DWU), specyfikacji technicznych, instrukcji instalacji i konserwacji wykładzin winylowych w rulonie, luksusowych płytek winylowych, płytek dywanowych m.in. do biur, hoteli, sklepów, szkół itp.
Tłumaczenie strony internetowej i opisów luksusowych płytek winylowych do mieszkań. Teksty wymagały indywidualnego podejścia, aby oddać wyjątkowy charakter poszczególnych kolekcji i produktów.
