About me

I have 14 years of experience working as an editor of the Russian language, supported by know-how, which I had gained as a resourceful teacher innovator. I create teaching materials with great passion and manage the team of authors who are preparing them for publication. I bravely and successfully meet the expectations of the publishing market.

I am looking for an additional job (editor, proofreader, author) that will allow me to use the experience, knowledge and skills I have gained.

02.2007– until now Managing editor at educational publishing house Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne in Warsaw. Responsibilities: • Editorial-language-didactic editing, proofreading and editing. of publications for learning the Russian language. • Planning the editorial calendar and budgets. • Drafting contracts and record keeping. • Competition analysis and monitoring. • Acquiring authors and supervising their work. • Co-creation of the concept of publications and market research. • Cooperation with internal support departments and outsourcing partners: supervising the work of native speakers, external editors, proofreaders, graphic designers, DTP operators and record producers, as well as cooperation with the marketing department, the appraisers assigned by the Ministry of National Education as well as with the members of the Central Examination Commission. 09.2015–12.2016 Teacher of Russian at National Defence University of Warsaw. 09.2008–02.2009 Polish Language Teacher at the Russian School at the Russian Embassy in Warsaw. 09.2004–02.2007 Teacher of Russian at the Commune Junior High School. 12.2003–02.2004 Journalist of the daily "Word People" in Radom.
