Job description
Quixi Media Sp. z o.o. would like to establish permanent cooperation with a person who will design and prepare richly illustrated book publications for print (layout + typesetting in Adobe InDesign).
Assumptions:
- A richly illustrated promotional publication (not scientific!) characterizing the Polish water supply and sewage industry.
- Form of publication: elegant, hard binding; chalky paper; offset CMYK 4+4 color printing
- Technical data:
- Format 210 x 265
- Number of pages: 120
- Language version: Polish-English - languages run concurrently in one volume
- Layout:
- graphic elements referring to fresh drinking water
- modern, clean graphic form
- 30-50 interesting infographics and maps - these elements should be designed and developed on the basis of the basic data included in the text
- pictures to be provided by the ordering party
- Reader/recipient: male, 45-65 years old, higher technical education
- Completion date: 30 days from the date of the contract
Our expectations:
- It is necessary to propose a rate of remuneration per page.
- It is necessary to confirm readiness to complete the assignment in 30 days
- We will expect you to provide me with fragments of the resulting mock-up in pdf in accordance with the progress of the work and we reserve the right to accept individual stages (chapters) or the possibility of making corrections on an ongoing basis.
Additional Information:
- Payments will be made in stages as the work progresses.
Preliminary design:
- to prepare a preliminary draft of 8 pages as a representation of the book layout idea and infographics; please specify a fee proposal for this preliminary draft.
